Design and quick installation - many trade fair innovations

These fittings include the Portavant systems M 50, M 80 and G 120, which offer solutions in all installation situations from 20-120 kg with a minimum sash width of 330 mm. Wall, ceiling or glass wall installations with glass or wooden sash(s) can be realised.

Up to a sash mass of 80 kg, frontal mounting is possible for self-supporting systems (with fixed sash). Spacer profiles are available for installations with frames. The new Portavant systems are equipped with soft closing and end position retraction on both sides as standard.

Design fittings in addition to EV1 and C3

The fittings from Willach are easy to install.

For more design variety, the fittings are also available in black anodised (C35) and white powder-coated (wall mounting only) in addition to EV1 and C31. These fittings are very easy to install, thanks to adjustability from the front, clip-on cover and mounting positions for damper and activator clearly specified by the system.

Even if the installation of the track is not perfectly perpendicular to the glass door (due to sloping walls), the damper remains functional. The position of the activator can be adjusted for all deviations of the running rail from the perpendicular of +/-3 degrees and all height settings of the door leaf.

Since the ball bearings are guided securely from below and above in the running rail with a positive guide, there is no need for a separate anti-unhinge device. In addition, this prevents the panels from tilting when slowing down. Even narrow, high sashes run smoothly without tilting during the damping process. Despite pure clamping of the glass pane in the carriage, a maximum aspect ratio of height to width of the glass panes of 3 : 1 is possible. Glass processing or gluing is not necessary, even with LSG made of toughened safety glass.

The fittings can optionally be equipped with an electric lock that is concealed behind the profile cover. Glass processing or an additional lateral profile projection for the lock are not required, making it retrofittable. If a purely mechanical lock is to be used, the Portavant stop/locking box is available for this purpose with an optional striking plate for hook bolt locks.

Innovations for the terrace

Willach has developed its own hook bolt lock for the Atrivant terrace glazing and the Portavant sliding doors, which is celebrating its premiere at glasstec.

Willach has developed its own hook bolt lock for the Atrivant terrace glazing and the Portavant sliding doors, which is celebrating its premiere at glasstec.

For terrace glazing, two ceiling rails of different heights are now available for Atrivant 80, the bottom-running, parallel-opening sliding glass door fitting for toughened glass balcony and terrace glazing. This allows installations to be realised with or without soft-closing and end-position retraction systems. For faster installation, Atrivant 80 is equipped with a one-piece track with integrated drainage. The colours anthracite and white are finished in textured lacquer. A new handle shell is also available.

Willach has developed its own mechanical hook bolt lock for the Atrivant terrace glazing and the Portavant sliding doors, which will be shown for the first time at glasstec. According to the developer, this lock impresses with its design principles, an adjustable locking bolt, a high level of intrusion protection and the ability to use different interchangeable cylinders. The lock will be available from 10/2022 and is available in all Portavant and Atrivant colours.
