The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780 was developed specifically for the requirements of long-distance transport and focuses on maximum range. The E-Tech T 585 impresses with its optimised payload and is ideal for a wide range of transport tasks. The portfolio is complemented by the E-Tech T 540 4x2, which is designed for regional distribution transport.
Electric axle for greater range
The integration of an electric axle now gives the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780 and T 585 a greater range. The e-axle makes it possible to combine all parts of the powertrain – electric motors and transmission – at the rear of the vehicle. This design creates space between the side members for additional battery packs.

How do the batteries in the new Renault Trucks perform?
The new models are equipped with high-energy-density lithium-ion batteries (NCA: nickel, cobalt, aluminium), whose special L-shaped design fits seamlessly into the new layout. Renault Trucks guarantees the performance of the batteries for up to 8 years or 1 million kilometres.
The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585, with a battery capacity of 585 kWh, can travel 460 km on a single charge while offering the highest payload in this vehicle range.
With a battery capacity of 780 kWh, the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 780 has a range of 600 km. The vehicle has been specially developed for companies that place particular emphasis on maximum efficiency and range.
To make optimum use of charging times, both models are compatible with Megawatt Charging System (MCS) charging stations. With a power output of up to 720 kW, energy for around 350 km can be recharged during a 45-minute driver break. Alternatively, the vehicles can also be charged at the depot using the standard CCS system with up to 350 kW.
At the same time, Renault Trucks has also further developed its current model, the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 540 4x2. It has a range of 450 kilometres on a single battery charge.
More comfort, better handling

Designed for long-distance transport, the Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585 and E-Tech T 780 in 6x2 configuration offer a high level of driving comfort and particularly precise manoeuvrability when docking thanks to fully integrated air suspension.
Their steerable and liftable rear axle ensures that the manoeuvrability of these models is comparable to that of a 4x2 tractor unit. At the same time, it reduces tyre wear when manoeuvring or reversing with a light load.
The Renault Trucks E-Tech T 585 also impresses with a payload of up to 28 tonnes, in accordance with the relevant legal requirements.
New light commercial vehicles for tradespeople
Renault Trucks is also expanding its portfolio of light commercial vehicles with the introduction of two new models: the Renault Trucks Master Red Edition Propulsion and the Renault Trucks Master Red Edition Offroad.
Both variants have been specially developed to meet the requirements of the construction and trades sectors and impress with their robustness, versatility and adaptability to different operating conditions.
