Over the past four decades, the inloader has become the transport solution of choice for float glass and other vertical sheet materials. Designed for side-loading and upright transport, inloaders minimise handling damage, reduce loading times, and offer greater route flexibility. Their evolution has mirrored the glass industry’s own shift toward automation, oversize formats and just-in-time delivery.
Optimising every kilometre
From air suspension systems to corrosion-resistant steel frames, the latest generation of inloaders reflects a constant push for durability, precision and operational efficiency. For high-volume players in glass logistics, fleet decisions hinge on long-term performance and reliability — which brings us to one of the sector’s standout partnerships.
The Italian Lannutti Group has been a leading player in glass logistics for decades. The company relies on Faymonville inloaders for the safe transport of flat glass. Over the coming years, the fleet will be renewed with an impressive 400 vehicles from the FloatMAX series.
1,500 glass inloaders to date

Lannutti Group
This major order has now been finalized, underscoring the confidence that company owner Valter Lannutti has in the vehicles from the renowned manufacturer. “Reliable and technically sophisticated transport vehicles are essential to our forward-looking and ambitious corporate philosophy. That's exactly why we value Faymonville's FloatMAX inloaders – they meet all our requirements.”
The Lannutti Group received its first Faymonville in-loader back in 1993. Over the years, this fleet has grown steadily to around 1,500 vehicles. With the current order, Faymonville will once again equip the fleet of the industry leader.
“The quality of the FloatMAX inloaders is unique. They combine decisive features such as stability and durability with a weight-optimized design and optimized load distribution.” Another important feature is the standard full metal construction of the 3-axle models. This protection against corrosion is another unique selling point of Faymonville.
Long-standing relationship with Faymonville
The Lannutti Group, with locations in eight European countries and 2,000 employees, has been a long-standing customer of the Faymonville Group for around 30 years. “The agreement with the Lannutti Group for 400 new inloaders is a sign of trust and underlines that we are consistently developing long-standing partnerships through our advanced vehicle solutions,” explains Alexander Fickers, Managing Director of the Faymonville Group.
With this agreement, the Faymonville Group is consolidating its leading position in the field of glass inloaders and setting new standards in the industry.
