Dubai was deliberately chosen as the office location. As a leading business and logistics hub, the city continues to benefit from strong economic growth, rising population figures and sustained investment in real estate and infrastructure. Demand is increasing across a wide range of building types, including residential, commercial, educational, healthcare, hospitality and retail projects. At the same time, the region is seeing growing interest in high-performance glazing systems that combine structural capability, architectural quality and sustainability.
Through its Advanced Interlayer Solutions division, Kuraray aims to work even more closely with architects, engineers, façade consultants, fabricators and developers across the region. The new office will support projects from early design stages through to specification, helping to ensure that glazing plays a key role not only in aesthetics and structural performance, but also in advancing energy efficiency and long-term durability.
Rising demand for laminated safety glass and laminated glass
Rising levels of both new construction and refurbishment are driving demand for Kuraray’s interlayer solutions, including Trosifol PVB and SentryGlas ionoplast. In particular, SentryGlas enables thinner and lighter glass constructions while delivering enhanced overall performance, opening up new possibilities for innovative façade and glazing applications.
The Dubai office will function as a regional center for innovation, technical expertise and customer engagement. By strengthening relationships with existing partners and building new collaborations, Kuraray aims to actively contribute to the continued evolution of the Middle East’s vibrant architectural and design landscape.
