Iconic Awards 2022

Folding glass door from Solarlux wins award in the Product category

With its new element heights and widths, the Megaline folding glass door, which Solarlux launched at the beginning of the year, won the Iconic Awards 2022: Innovative Architecture Best of the Best in the Product category.

The jury's statement emphasised not only the high design quality of the product, but also the new architectural possibilities it offers planners: "With the new Megaline folding glass door from Solarlux, movable window fronts of up to 4.5 metres in height can be realised. This enables architectural designs in which sun-flooded interiors visually merge with the outside world. At the same time, the highly thermally insulated aluminium profile system with its clear design appears highly elegant and high-quality and lends a distinctive touch to buildings of different architectural styles."

The new dimensions: unique on the market

With a maximum element height of 4.50 metres or a width of up to 1.50 metres, particularly high folding glass walls or particularly wide element pairs can be realised with the Megaline product innovation, which are currently unique on the market. In comparison, element heights of up to 3.50 metres were previously available for the Highline folding glass door and 3.00 metres for the Ecoline folding glass door.
