New leadership at German Quality Association: Schüco manager Fischer succeeds Stöger

The members of the Quality Association for PVC Window Profile Systems (GKFP) elected a new board at their annual meeting in Potsdam, Germany, on May 15, 2025, as scheduled. Christian Fischer from Schüco Polymer Technologies KG was appointed as the new Chairman of the Board, replacing long-standing chairman Michael Stöger (Rehau Industries SE & Co.).

Frank Zimmermann (Rehau Industries SE & Co.) was elected deputy chairman, succeeding Michael Szerman (Veka AG). The board is completed by Peter Czajkowski from Gealan Fenster-Systeme GmbH, who was re-elected in his role as chairman of the Quality Association.

The Quality Association thanked the outgoing board members for their many years of commitment and their contribution to the further development of quality assurance in the plastic window sector. With its new leadership, the GKFP intends to tackle the current challenges facing the industry and continue to promote continuous quality control and innovation for its members and partners.

The Quality Association for PVC Window Profile Systems (Gütegemeinschaft Kunststoff-Fensterprofile e.V.), based in Bonn, Germany, is the body responsible for RAL quality assurance RAL-GZ 716 (RAL Gütesicherung RAL-GZ 716) and is committed to the continuous improvement of products, processes and services in the industry. With a focus on durability and sustainability, it strengthens the market position of PVC windows and offers its members a quality mark that builds trust.

As an independent organization, the GKFP works on an equal footing with industry associations and sees itself as a driving force in the industry. With its in-depth technical and standards expertise and its consistent commitment to quality assurance, it is continuously developing its recognition.
