Two German major players in the building envelope sector are joining forces: heroal and Solarlux are launching a strategic partnership that offers building owners and specialised companies real added value. The starting signal was given at BAU in Munich - with exciting prospects.

A curved glass facade where each pane is unique

The curved glass facade of the new Wera-Welle in Wuppertal is an eye-catcher. With individually manufactured, curved glass panes from Arnold Glas, the building demonstrates technical excellence. The Solarlux D40 insulating glass units installed combine optimum thermal insulation and sun shading with aesthetics. The project was realised by Arnold Glas and the Isolar network.

A glass facade that reflects mountains in all directions

Near Innsbruck's main railway station, a total of 173 residential units were built as part of the Pema 2. The facade architecture of the 50-metre-high building is unique. Depending on how the light falls in, it quotes the surrounding mountain formations.

"The new Megaline folding glass door enables spectacular architectural designs in which sun-drenched interiors visually merge with the outside world," said the Iconic Awards jury at the awards ceremony.

The Megaline folding glass door from Solarlux has won over the jury at the Iconic Awards 2022. Due to its "highly elegant, modern and high-quality design", according to the experts, it was awarded the title Best of the Best in the Product category.

The thermally separated height compensation profile makes it possible, once installed, to compensate for construction tolerances of up to 7.5 mm upwards and downwards.
