Highly selective solar control glass with Cradle to Cradle certificate

The new Stopray Vision-70 solar control glass and the Stopray Vision-70T toughened variant reduce the climate load behind glass facades with a g-value of only 35 per cent. The new glass is color-neutral (Ra,D = 97) and allows maximum daylight into the space (TL = 70 percent).

The light reflectivity to the inside is 15 per cent, while it reflects 14 per cent towards the outside. The low Ug-value of 1.0 W(m2K) protects the rooms against cooling down on cold days, reduces the heating demand and thus protects the environment. The above values apply to the double-glazed design, however, the product is also available as a triple insulating glass version.

All basic glasses Cradle to Cradle certified

All existing basic glass products from the ipasol and Stopray product range have been certified with the silver "Cradle to Cradle" sustainability certificate. This is used to evaluate the sustainability of a product over its entire life cycle. For certification, the product must meet the strict requirements in five categories in the fields of health and environmental protection: material health, recyclability, renewable energies, water consumption and social responsibility.

The highly selective Stopray Vision-70 glasses are designed for buildings that require effective sun protection and maximum natural daylight.
