What does "Trinity" actually mean for glass facades?

AGC Interpane is currently the only manufacturer to offer the complete range of its double silver-coated and very colour-neutral "Stopray Vision" solar control glazing as optically identical toughenable variants. These glasses are available as ribbon sizes for further processing or fixed sizes for the project business, in flexible dimensions up to XXL formats.

"At AGC Interpane, we call these three advantages our 'Trinity', which is designed to give customers more flexibility and speed. With Stopray Vision 70/35, 62/33, 52/27 and 40/21, we offer solutions for every architectural requirement in terms of daylight transmission and summer thermal insulation, all of which are also available in a toughenable 'T' version," explains Steffen Kittler, Sales Manager at AGC Interpane.

If the facade planning requires that parts of the facade be fitted with toughened glazing, while non-tempered glazing is preferred in the directly adjacent areas of the facade.

Significantly reduce the air conditioning load in summer

With the double silver-coated "Stopray Vision" solar control glazing from AGC Interpane, the normal layers are therefore visually identical to their toughened variants - so they can be optimally combined in the facade.

The highly selective Stopray Vision 70/35(T) is aimed at projects where the focus is on high daylight transmission into the building and at the same time a low g-value of 35 per cent effectively protects the rooms from overheating in summer.

AGC Glass Europe

Stopray Vision 62/33 glass from AGC Interpane is installed in the facade of the "Kineum" in Gothenburg, Sweden.

If, for example, 40 per cent daylight transmission is already sufficient due to the large dimensions of the glazing or a corresponding geographical location, Stopray Vision 40/21(T) achieves a particularly low g-value of just 21 per cent to significantly reduce the air conditioning load in summer.

The products Stopray Vision 62/33(T) and Stopray Vision 52/27(T) cover the areas in between. With a Ug value of just 0.6 W/(m2K) (in triple glazing with argon filling), all Stopray Vision solar control glazing also provides excellent protection against rooms cooling down in cold temperatures.

AGC Interpane offers glass lengths up to 19 metres

The available dimensions also cover the entire spectrum of today's architectural visions: AGC Interpane Architectural Glass, the newly created unit as a merger of the German project locations in Plattling and Lauenförde, supplies Stopray Vision solar control glass in dimensions up to 3.21 x 19m in the German and international project business, including the associated technical application advice.

All solar control glass from the Stopray Vision series has been awarded the Cradle to Cradle silver certificate and is also available in "low carbon" versions as part of the AGC Group's new CO2-reduced production. Architects and planners can use them to improve the classification of their buildings in environmental certifications according to DGNB, LEED, BREEAM etc.
