Remmers:

Safe and easy waterproofing in just a few steps

Anyone who offers their customers full-length windows and doors and also has them installed is faced with the challenge of producing the transitions to the plinth or other materials. In addition to the difficult application of conventional waterproofing materials, adhesion problems often occur in the transition area of changing substrates such as from mineral substrates to window and door elements. Remmers has put together the MB 2K Window Kit especially for this purpose. It contains all the essential materials and tools required for the safe sealing of transitions. In addition to a combination container with the waterproofing all-round talent MB 2K, which has been specially tested for this area of application, the system also includes the premium joint sealing tape VF and various versions of the internal and external corners as well as the necessary tools, the corner brush and surface brush.

Remmers

With its MB 2K Window Kit, Remmers offers a tailor-made solution for the transition area from mineral substrates to window and door elements.

The flexible, polymer-modified thick coating MB 2K not only shows its strengths in waterproofing in areas in contact with the ground, but also scores particularly well in complicated connection details. Due to the high adhesive strength on almost all substrates, material changes can be sealed quickly, easily and permanently. Even at low layer thicknesses of 3 mm, the bitumen-free material achieves a crack bridging of 3 mm. The non-permeability and practicability of this connection with MB 2K from Remmers was tested by the Austrian Society for Wood Research (Holzforschung Austria) under backwater load and confirmed as practicable.
