The next generation of Saint-Gobain Insio vacuum glass is the world's first tempered vacuum insulating glass to receive CE marking.
The CE mark was obtained via the EOTA route for vacuum insulating glass (EAD 300021-00-0404 / ETA 25/0363).
This means that the entire Insio product range meets European requirements for performance, durability and reliability and can be used throughout the European Economic Area.
The vacuum insulating glass achieves a Ug value of 0.3 to 0.5 W/m²K.
Insio uses LuxWall vacuum technology and achieves insulation values that exceed those of conventional triple insulating glass. The slim profile allows greater design freedom and reduces energy consumption.
Climaplus Insio complements the portfolio
The CE marking further strengthens the position of Climaplus Insio, which is already CE marked.
This double glazing with integrated Insio fits into standard window systems and makes high-quality vacuum insulation easily accessible – both in new buildings and in renovations. Design freedom and quick installation are fully retained.
