The glass producer AGC Inc. like to sell its North American architectural glass business for approximately 450 Million USD to Cardinal Glass Industries  an agreement was already  reached.

AGC has concluded that it will create further growth opportunities by transferring the operations of the architectural glass business in North America to Cardinal Glass Industries who had business trading experience with AGC in the past and is expected to make the most effective use of AGC’s assets and personnel.

The following glass plants are subject to the business transfer to Cardinal :

Greenland (Tennessee)

Spring Hill (Kansas)

Abingdon (Virginia)
