Wicona optimises the carbon footprint of Hydro Circal 75R

The aluminium system house Wicona continues to drive forward the decarbonisation of its product range and has reached a new milestone for Hydro Circal 75R. The sustainable aluminium alloy made from recycled end-of-life aluminium now has a carbon footprint of just 1.9 kg CO2/kg aluminium - 70% less than the EU average. Here are the details.

Hydro completes acquisition of Hueck

The Hydro Group completed the acquisition of Hueck, manufacturer of aluminium systems for facades, on 28 February 2023, following approval by the competition authorities in Germany and Austria. The acquisition strengthens Hydro Building Systems' position in Europe and increases its presence.
