The Glas Trösch Group from Switzerland is launching an innovative, thin Triple insulating glass in cooperation with the US materials expert Corning. The glass significantly reduces the carbon footprint and improves energy efficiency. The innovation, which is set to set new standards for sustainable construction, will be presented for the first time at BAU 2025. Here are the details.

For Columbia University in New York, Diller Scofidio + Renfro designed two impressive new buildings with FX Collaborative. The architecture, designed for transparency and communication, is characterised by 25,400 square metres of LSG by BGT Bischoff of the Glas Trösch Group.

It was important to the planners of the Square that the building blend in gently with the neighbouring buildings and the surrounding landscape.

Coloured glass sculpture casts beautiful shadows

One of the largest sculpture exhibitions in Europe, the Bad RagARTz, is drawing visitors to the Swiss spa town of Bad Ragaz until the end of October 2021. The glass sculpture Tri Colore by the artist Kathrin Severin, which is made from glass by Glas Trösch and casts coloured shadows, can also be seen there.
