Flachglas MarkenKreis: Low-reflection facade glass

The Infrastop Q 60/25 glass is based on the Pilkington Suncool Q 60/25 coating and, with a light transmission of 60% in a double structure and a g-value of 27%, has a selectivity greater than 2. The values in the triple structure are 54% for the light transmission TL and 25% for the g-value.

The glass is very neutral when it comes to appearance and transparency and makes it possible to meet the frequent demand from planners for colour-neutral, low-reflective facades. The very low external reflection of the Q 60/25 of 9% and the internal reflection of 12% are special. With these values, it is an ideal glass for a variety of applications: For example, in the planning of large-area windows and facades, in conservatories or for renovations.

This product innovation also has another advantage, particularly in large or tall buildings: thanks to its high colour stability, the glass shows very little angle dependence and guarantees a consistent appearance of the glass facade.

Infrastop Q 60/25 also meets all the requirements of modern climate protection glass. Thanks to the best possible Ug-value of 1.0 W/(m2 K) in standard construction and 0.7 W/(m2 K) in double construction and the associated thermal insulation, heating costs can be reduced significantly.

This range of glass products will soon be supplemented by the Infrastop Q 50/20. In line with the architectural trend, the Flachglas MarkenKreis will then offer two glasses with both glass types, which are very neutral in appearance.

According to the manufacturer's information, another advantage is that both glass types will be perfectly matched to each other optically. This allows implementing harmoniously matched facades, even if two different types of glass are required in different sections.
