This system floor threshold prevents tripping accidents

This new system floor threshold from Gugelfuss is the solution for people with physical disabilities and older people, as well as for anyone who values comfort and aesthetics.

"The far-sighted builder who is already thinking about tomorrow today and the aesthete who is bothered by the threshold as a visual nuisance also want accessibility," explains Managing Director Anton Gugelfuß. "That is why we have developed a new threshold solution that is absolutely level. To be more precise: zero millimetres high. More accessibility is not possible," emphasises Martin Gugelfuß, also Managing Director of Gugelfuss GmbH.

No more tripping over thresholds

With the new system floor threshold, building owners, planners and architects are on the safe side. Because when a threshold is considered barrier-free varies from place to place. The Gugelfuss solution with its zero millimetre height meets all regional requirements. Tripping accidents on the way to the balcony are now a thing of the past!

The new system floor threshold fits plastic lift-and-slide doors from Gugelfuss with a basic depth of 82 mm, in the standard fitting. "Because a patented additional locking mechanism is integrated in the system floor threshold, there is no need for expensive special designs in the door fittings," Martin Gugelfuß emphasises. Removable support profiles also keep maintenance and servicing costs low. The barrier-free lift-slide doors from Gugelfuss also offer tested burglary protection up to resistance class RC2 for single and double-leaf elements.
