Glass and stone machinery company Denver celebrates 40 years in business

Born from the idea and dream of brothers Bruno and Alvaro Giannoni, Denver has grown and changed over the course of forty years. Today, Denver is a structured and modern company with 60 employees.

Alvaro: "When I founded my company in 1984, I had no idea what Denver would one day become. Back then, I only had my hands and the expertise I had built up day by day, and the curious and slightly crazy mind of someone who always wants to learn new things in order to find new solutions. This spirit, always focused on research and innovation, has allowed us to become one of the world leaders in the stone and glass sector."

Along the way, Denver has experienced great challenges as well as moments of crisis. Nevertheless, there has been tremendous growth, but above all some particularly significant revolutionary developments.

Alvaro: "The first revolution came when we developed the extraction benches for better workplace protection and launched the first space-saving monobloc saw on the market. The second revolution came when we invented the first bridge saw where the saw head rotated and not the table. Until then, this was an unthinkable solution. Today, it has become the standard design for all bridge saws manufactured in the world."

In the meantime, the company has grown considerably and has developed from a small provincial craft workshop into an important point of reference on the global market for processing machines in the stone industry.

Alvaro: "The third revolution was a great challenge, as it created a new business area for the development and production of machines for the glass industry. Our constant search for innovative solutions has enabled us to design Advance and bring it to life. The machine that revolutionised the glass processing market and changed the rules of production."

Today, Denver is once again on the verge of an important evolution. The second generation has joined the company, represented by sons Matteo and Federico. Under the current leadership of their father Alvaro, the company is now a centre for excellent technology and an inspiring mentality. The demand for results of the highest quality has been deeply rooted in Denver's corporate culture from the very beginning.

Matteo: "Denver stands for a way of working that positively influences the industry with growth and progress through constant curiosity for extraordinary solutions."

Our internal research and development centre is constantly working to present innovative and forward-looking solutions for both stone and glass processing.

In the glass sector, we have recently patented "D-Shaping". This is one of the most modern solutions for processing shaped glass without straight sides, which can be used on vertical processing centres.

Federico: "We want to give the customer who chooses us and becomes part of Denver World that feeling of exceptionality. For them, this means standing out from the general market by revolutionising their working system and the way they understand their business. Above all, we want to continue to differentiate ourselves positively from the competition by always ensuring a strong personalised customer relationship. No one is just an impersonal number. All of us in Denver give each of our customers the utmost attention to the project they want."

Alvaro: "40 years of revolution and innovation since Denver was founded is the result of the daily work of the people who have made the company grow over the years and all the customers who have believed in us and made my dream come true. That's why Denver is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, always in direct contact with our customers and their needs to constantly design and implement new technological solutions together in the current market and in future projects."
