Intermac, Diamut, Forvet: Glass technology in action

The Biesse Group is presenting itself with its three subsidiaries Intermac, Forvet and Diamut on two stands in Düsseldorf. On display will be new cutting and processing and CNC systems as well as software and tools. Visitors to the two stands can get expert advice from the manufacturer's specialists on the possibilities of Industry 4.0 and on the machines.

A selection of the latest Intermac solutions for glass processing will be on display in Hall 16: a CNC machining centre integrated with ROS, a cutting line with an integrated storage and logistics system, and two flexible, two-sided grinding machines with integrated drilling and milling systems, one of which is connected to a storage device for optimising the flow of glass.

At the Intermac stand, visitors will also have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the new generation of software for CNC machines.

What Diamut will be showing in Düsseldorf

In Hall 16, Diamut will present its complete range of tools for fast, effective and cost-optimised glass processing: these include cup and peripheral grinding wheels, drills, finger cutters and cut-off wheels. All tools are optimally matched to each other.

As part of Diamut's research and innovation activities, a new cobalt-free binder was developed that is used in all products in the range. For this binder, metal powders are used that have only a minor impact on the environment and are not harmful to health. This will also be presented at the stand.

The use of cobalt-free powders offers users many advantages throughout the manufacturing process, including the more cost-effective disposal of machining waste.

In addition, CNC systems and machining centres from Biesse subsidiary Forvet (www.forvet.it) will be on show in Düsseldorf.
