Announcing the winners of the Isolar object competition 2023

The following projects were awarded in the Isolar Object Competition 2023:

Innovative Projects: In the category of innovative projects, the Porsche Design Tower in Stuttgart was awarded. The facade of the building was realised with Ornilux design lines bird protection glass. The glass was manufactured by Hunsrücker Glasveredelung Wagener from Kirchberg/Hunsrück. Ornilux design lines is a new bird protection glass that makes it possible to protect birds from colliding with glass surfaces, while at the same time achieving an attractive design.

Creative Projects: In the creative objects category, the House of Digitisation in Tulln an der Donau in Austria was the winner. The building was equipped with digitally printed glass from Isolar Klagenfurt.

Representative Projects: In the representative projects, the L'Oréal headquarters in Madrid took first place. Isolar member Tvitec from Spain supplied the glass for this project. The building impresses not only with its architecture, but also with its sustainable energy supply and efficient use of resources.

The Isolar object competition showed once again that the combination of contemporary glass and appealing design can help to make buildings even more efficient, functional and aesthetically pleasing.

Carl Pinnekamp honoured for 20 years of board work

During the Great Isolar Conference in Potsdam, Carl Pinnekamp was honoured for his 20 years of service to the Isolar Group and the Group Board.

Hans-Joachim Arnold thanked Carl Pinnekamp on behalf of the Isolar members for his commitment: "Carl has made an important contribution to the development and advancement of our group over decades as a member of the board. And for that, I want to thank him again most sincerely for his dedication and output on behalf of the group members."
