The expansion of the new US facility of Schmalz has increased the area of the Raleigh branch to around 8,000 square meters. Even before the expansion, the US location, which was founded in 1999, was one of the largest within the Schmalz Group with around 110 employees. Now, around 60 additional jobs are to be added in the future.

Schmalz is also pursuing its growth targets in other countries. For example, the sites in India and China were also significantly expanded last year through major construction projects. In addition, Schmalz will open another location in Bydgoszcz, Poland, before the end of the year. In total, the international Schmalz Group now comprises 29 locations worldwide with around 1,800 employees.
