An unusual installation in the Swiss mountains: A house at 2000 m above sea level required the installation of a glass plate weighing 2 tonnes. See in this video of the installation how a special vacuum lifter was able to help get the job done:

For the installation of a two-tonne glass panel in a house among the Swiss mountains, the fitters of Ruch Metallbau AG were looking for a powerful vacuum lifter.

With the vacuum lifter Kombi 7441-DmS6H from the Lübeck-based vacuum specialist Pannkoke, the Swiss metal builders found what they were looking for.

This device can move construction components and glass weighing up to 2,000 kg, and that in environments up to an altitude of 3,000 metres above sea level.

Ruch Metallbau AG was so pleased with the Pannkoke device that they decided to buy the rental equipment for their own company after the installation was completed.
