With the new insulating glass line from Lisec, Chongzheng Shengda Glass takes a significant step forward in the production of large-format façade glass. The system is designed for glass sizes of up to 8 × 3.3 metres and marks a milestone in the production of large-format TPA insulating glass units. The thermoplastic spacers are applied fully automatically directly to the glass.

The new Lisec system makes it possible to manufacture insulating glass units that were previously not feasible at this scale. At the same time, the integrated control system ensures consistently high dimensional accuracy and tightness, even with maximum glass sizes.

Process integration, flexibility and energy efficiency
Another key advantage of the new insulating glass line is its high level of flexibility. Thanks to the use of thermoplastic spacers, different glass formats and spacer widths can be changed continuously, virtually without any changeover times.
In addition, intelligent control contributes to improved energy efficiency. Reduced material consumption, optimized drying cycles and coordinated process control lower energy consumption by up to 30 percent compared to conventional production methods, according to Lisec.
