More than 7200 visitors met 204 exhibitors over the four days of the fair, a 46 per cent increase compared to the last edition in 2021. Broken down by country of origin, 50.2 per cent of visitors to Vitrum 2023 were Italian with the rest coming from around 90 other countries, underlining the international nature of the show, according to the show organisers.

A reference trade fair for the international market

The event is of strategic importance for the professionals of the Italian and foreign glass industry and testifies to the central importance of Milan as a glass capital. In fact, Vitrum coincided with Vision Milan Glass Week, which has been enlivening the city's streets until last Sunday, 10 September.

In his closing remarks, GIMAV and Vitrum President Dino Zandonella Necca said: "Vitrum 2023, like its predecessors, has once again presented an inspiring showcase for exhibitors from Italy and abroad. We are pleased that so many companies consider the fair as a fixed date to present their best products. This strengthens our positioning as a reference fair for the international market. We have offered the companies and visitors an event of a high standard. And we are already working on the future with the aim of constantly improving.
