Facade builder Gartner secures contract in London

Facade contractor Gartner has secured the contract for the design, supply and installation of the exterior facade for the 50 Fenchurch Street high-rise project in London. The 36-storey building was designed by Eric Parry Architects. As part of this project, Gartner will work closely with its British colleagues of Permasteelisa UK.

The Olympia glass canopy in Kensington has been completed. Eckersley O’Callaghan engineered the steel and glass canopy that sits atop the public realm space within the Olympia redevelopment.

The impressive design of the 190-metre office tower was penned by the architects of Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF).

Facade glass for The Scalpel in London

A successful example of the integration of contemporary architecture in the City of London is 52 Lime Street, also known as "The Scalpel". The 190-metre office tower designed by the architects of Kohn Pedersen Fox (KPF) is an impressive building. The facade glass came from AGC Interpane.

The doors at the individual stations must be particularly fire, sound and pressure resistant. In order to fulfil all values, Teckentrup developed a new door especially for this requirement profile.

In the underground, there is generally high pressure to allow the necessary air flow. In addition, the fire protection requirements are extremely high, as the escape routes are more demanding than above ground. For a project in the London Underground, Teckentrup has now developed special doors that exceed all requirements.

The new Maggie’s Centre in London has a glass wall made by Okalux that brings light trough the wall to the inside.
