Vienna Window Congress integrates sun shading

The WFSK (Vienna Window and Sun Shading Congress) focuses on the development of the markets and on contemporary strategies. In the form of parallel sessions, the organiser, the industry consultants from Interconnection, integrates the sun shading sector, thus broadening the view and opening up to a wider audience.

The Vienna Window and Sun Shading Congress is organised as a hybrid event.

The target audience: management, sales and marketing of the window and sun shading industry, as well as their partner companies, media and associations.

What companies will send speakers this year?

Plandata: Lars Oberwinter is Managing Director and Head of the BIM Solutions Department. He advises leading German-speaking companies in the field of interdisciplinary BIM implementation and digital construction planning process optimisation. He is a research assistant at the Chair of Industrial Construction and Interdisciplinary Construction Planning at TU Wien. Since 2009 he has been researching and developing strategies and methods of interdisciplinary BIM application in a scientific and private sector context.

Hella Sonnen- und Wetterschutztechnik: Christian Schaller is the Managing Director of Hella Holding, where he is responsible for strategy and IT. Hella is one of the leading European manufacturers of sun and weather protection systems and, as a system supplier, offers packages of products, services and software. The company has succeeded in serving all relevant target groups, from private customers to large commercial projects. Christian Schaller is considered a strategist with extensive knowledge of the industry. At the WFSK, he will focus on new developments in his presentation.

Interconnection

Till Schmiedeknecht is managing partner of Salamander Industrie-Produkte. Salamander Window & Door Systems is a European providers of energy-saving, design-oriented window and door systems. Bartenbach: Andreas Danler has been working in the lighting design office of Christian Bartenbach since 1989. Following vocational training in daylight and artificial lighting technology and perception psychology, he was involved in numerous daylight and artificial lighting projects as a project manager for more than a decade. Since 2003, he has been a member of the Bartenbach management team responsible for lighting design. He will dedicate his lecture to sun shading in the field of daylighting solutions.

Ralf Kern has been CEO and spokesman for the management of Rademacher, a firm market player in the home automation segment, since 2019. In his presentation, he will show how far the interface between sun shading and smart home has progressed and what can be expected in the near future.

Prizes for special achievements

As part of the WFSK, companies from the sectors will be awarded prizes for special achievements in the areas of innovation (in digitalisation, sales, greening, technology or products), sustainability (ecological quality & environmental management, product life cycle: raw materials & manufacturing processes, material cycle & recycling) and in the web presence (user-friendliness, design & design elements, SEO) of companies in the sectors will be awarded.
