Köster is one of Germany’s leading general contractors in building and civil engineering, offering end-to-end services from planning to turnkey delivery. The acquisition strengthens Köster’s expertise in off-site construction and scalable building solutions. The transaction is expected to close by the end of 2025.
Brüggemann has collaborated closely with Saint-Gobain to develop tailored solutions for the prefabrication market, combining high performance, sustainability, and productivity—hallmarks of future-proof construction systems.
This divestment is aligned with Saint-Gobain’s “Grow & Impact” strategic plan, which focuses on strengthening core activities with sustainable growth potential.
