Sprimoglass and Lerobel, which both share a long history of expertise in the glass sector, have decided to pool their complementary strengths to pursue the Sprimoglass Group’s ambition to become the reference in the field of high added value glass processing and installation. This union will allow the Sprimoglass Group to expand its national presence to better meet its customers’ needs in an ever-changing market.
Sprimoglass is a 100% independent Belgian company based in Sprimont. It has been in business for nearly 130 years and leads the charge in flat glass processing for the construction industry. It currently employs around 330 people. The company recently expanded into glass installation by acquiring Boermans Construct (Saint Gobain group), creating SprimoInstall.
Who are Lerobel?
Lerobel is also a 100% Belgian company with over 80 years of history, which shares expertise with Sprimoglass, is specialised in processing and installing glass to meet very specific customer requirements. It is located in Hasselt and employs around 120 people. This union is a great opportunity for the Sprimoglass Group to pursue its ambition to become the reference in the field of premium glass processing and installation by expanding its national presence (#MadeInBelgium) to meet its customers’ needs even better. Indeed, the two companies can draw on complementary knowledge and expertise.

The Sprimoglass Group will now be able to reinforce its processing expertise with its sites in Sprimont and Hasselt, but also its installation expertise by ensuring the growth of SprimoInstall. It also offers its employees great development opportunities, thanks to the sharing of knowledge made possible by this integration. A comprehensive integration plan will be elaborated to ensure that both companies’ processes are fully utilised and developed.
