The completion of the first glass grid shell for the new Stuttgart railway station marks a significant milestone for the Stuttgart 21 infrastructure project. With the completion of this impressive steel and glass dome by seele, a visible connection between the new underground track hall and the city center has been created for the first time.

Rope facade for Penn Station in New York

An imposing, counter-curved rope facade forms the new entrance to Penn Station in New York. The design for the inclined steel and glass canopy with an area of 277 square metres was created by Skanska and the architectural firms AECOM and SOM. Specialist seele was commissioned with the design, fabrication and installation of this project.

Built as a tea clipper, where speed to market was critical, it was the combination of sail and hull form which gave Cutty Sark her edge.
