Glas Marte:

New frameless sliding door

The GM Toproll Smart sliding door can be used very flexibly, as the running track has a profile height of only 40 mm and therefore offers a decisive advantage: Even with low passage heights or very thin ceiling constructions, the system can be easily integrated.

At the same time, the sliding door meets high aesthetic standards because it does not require a frame. The user can choose between stainless steel shell handles (diameter 55 mm) or stainless steel G-handles. Since the ceiling absorbs the weight of the glass elements when it is fixed, the door is barrier-free.

The GM Toproll Smart sliding door supports weights of up to 150 kg; this means that even large sliding doors in toughened safety glass and LSG can be realised with the 1-lane system.

Safe and easy installation of the sliding door

During installation, the manufacturer relies on running rails, with plastic-coated stainless steel ball bearing rollers guaranteeing quiet operation. The 8 - 12 mm thick glass of the door is held in place by bolts and an additional gluing of the fittings, thus guaranteeing an exact glass position and preventing the glass from slipping.

In addition, the glass is mounted vertically and centrically. As with all Glas Marte systems, this one is designed to be easy and quick to install.
