German supplier STA specialises in industrial water purification systems that use filtration and centrifugal techniques without the use of chemicals, making them very environmentally friendly.
The best-selling model is the U-15, a stand-alone application that can easily be connected to an edge grinding machine. The U-15 improves the quality of the sanding process and increases the productivity and lifetime of the sanding machine, according to the supplier.
In addition to this stand-alone application, STA also supplies larger systems for central cleaning of the cooling water of several machines. At Vitrum, a U-15 will be shown at work, directly connected to an edge grinding machine (at the Lattuada stand).
